Marios Zangas is the head of Vestas Hellas and Cyprus, the local subsidiary of Vestas, a company that designs, manufactures, installs and services wind turbines across the globe.

He joined Vestas in May 2007 and has since held various technical and commercial managerial positions, supporting Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and the Middle East and actively participating in more than 1.5GW of new wind power project deals.

He started his career in power supply related asset/project management, in UK’s National Grid, and Greek, big scale emergency power supply and diesel generator distributor, of Emerson/Liebert.

Born in Athens, Greece, he holds a Dipl. Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and a M.Sc. in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Bath, U.K.
