Zoi Vrontisi

Zoi Vrontisi is the Chairwoman of the National Center for the Environment and Sustainable Development of Greece. She has more than 10 years of professional and academic experience in energy and climate policy assessment and has worked as an expert for the European Commission, the Greek Ministry of Development and the private sector. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Power Transmission Operator of Greece and continues her research work in a spin-off company from the National Technical University of Athens. She contributes on several EU funded research projects focusing on the interlinkages between sustainable development and climate policy with the application of sophisticated modelling tools. Zoi holds an Electrical and Computer Engineering 5-year degree from the National Technical University of Athens and a M.Sc. in Environmental Technology and Energy Policy from Imperial College.
